Directions: We are located at 534 Bridge Street, Danville, Va. River District Phone 434-857-2337  Our tasting room is currently open on Thursdays and Fridays 3pm-7pm and Saturdays 1pm-7pm. We are located 1 block north of Craghead Street just before the Farmers Market. The City was a rail center in the 1800’s, home to cotton mills and a huge tobacco market.

Other attractions: The Carrington Pavilion right down the street offers Concerts and many types of entertainment during the year. One of the area’s favorites is the River District Festival each October. One of our favorite places across the parking lot is the Community Center (farmer’s market) which use to be the baggage freight house for the railroad. You can imagine the Old 97 Fast Mail train careening off the Stillhouse Trestle in 1903. This was a disaster memorialized in a ballad tribute to the 11 people killed in that disaster.
After walking the trail across Dan River and back you may thirst for a cold brew.
Don’t forget to visit Ballad Brewing at 600 Craghead St., and enjoy a cool Ale, Pilsner or IPA brew. They are one block from Dry Fork Distillery after exiting the walking trail head.

Also for dinning you have a great selection in the River District….. Golden Leaf Bistro, Cotton at Riverside Mill, among many more…..

You have to check out Me’s Burgers and Brews for their awesome burgers and locally crafted brews, including Dry Fork Distillery’s Apple Pie.

If you are looking for some great margaritas and tacos Mucho Taqueria is a must.

If you are looking for the delicious local Pizza places Dell Annos Pizza Kitchen in the River District and Franks Italian Restaurant on the outskirts of the River District on Memorial Drive is the places to check out. Also be sure to ask for your local distillery Dry Fork Moonshine when you are jamming out at Frank’s with his entertainment on the weekends.

The tourists may want to visit “Millionaire’s Row” on Main street and the Sutherlin Mansion which has been traditionally called the ” Last Confederate Capital” , now a museum.
